SHELBY, Ohio (WCMH) — We’re receiving more video from Richland County after a confirmed tornado moved through earlier Sunday.

Brett Close was on Facebook Live as the storm moved from Crawford into central Richland County. He was about seven miles west of Shelby, near the intersection on Rome S Rd and Ohio 96 West.

“The tornado was strikingly wide and probably of EF-2 strength, though that will ultimately be determined by the National Weather Service in Cleveland Monday,” Storm Team 4 meteorologist Ben Gelber said. “This same storm formed over Champaign County just after 3 p.m. and raced northeast at 40 mph over portions of Union and Marion counties, triggering tornado warnings for rotation.”
