HARRISVILLE, Utah (ABC4 News) – A Utah mom is facing multiple charges after she reportedly gave lap dances and alcohol to teens at a birthday party.
The Harrisville Police Department says they received reports of a lewdness incident on February 10, about a party the night before.
Detectives decided to further investigate the incident and after interviewing multiple children who attended the party found that the birthday party took place at the home of 40-year-old Rhianna Renae Nivens in Harrisville City, according to a probable cause statement.
Upon further investigation, detectives found that there were 12 minors between the ages of 14 to 17 in attendance at the party and Nivens was the mother of one of the minors, according to the PC statement.
The statement said, during the party, the minors drank alcohol and smoked marijuana and that Nivens knew this was going on in her home and even drank some alcohol with them.
The minors told detectives that after a while, Nivens went upstairs and put on a risqué outfit which they described as red and black lingerie which exposed Nivens’ breast, and private parts, according to documents.
The minors also added that after Nivens came back downstairs, she began to “dance sexually” for about 10 minutes, and she gave several minors lap dances.
Officials said the defendant’s behavior was recorded by at least one of the minors that attended the party.
Nivens faces four counts of dealing in harmful materials to a minor, four counts of lewdness, and four counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
