(WFLA) – A video has gone viral as a father and daughter show even when battling through tough illnesses, families share the same heartbeat.
Opal Rose Trimble is currently recovering from acute flaccid myelitis (AFM), a rare illness that affects children.
So her dad Josh created a special ritual for Opal Rose to show the two will always be connected even when they are not together.
The ritual starts with Josh thumping his chest like a heartbeat to which Opal responds by thumping her chest back. This is to signify that even when Opal’s parents who also have two other children cannot be with Opal at all times, will always be connected.
