Social media giant Facebook appears to be experiencing issues.
Downdetector.com has received about 5,000 complaints of issues with Facebook since about noon.
Most of the reports seem to be concentrated on the east coast of the United States.
Many people are receiving a message that says, “Facebook is down for required maintenance right now, but you should be able to get back on within a few minutes.”
