(CNN NEWSOURCE) — Pet owners can give their animals some extra treats and cuddles because Saturday is National Pet Day!
National Pet Day is celebrated every year and is about helping animals who may not have as loving homes as yours.
On this day, many enjoy volunteering at a shelter. But during these difficult times amid stay-at-home orders, it might be best to donate supplies to a rescue, or just show some extra love to your pets at home.
Whether your best friend is a golden retriever, gold fish or tarantula, it doesn’t matter! Celebrate that bond and do your part to make sure other companion animals are living their best lives.
