BREAKING: The NWS in Wilmington has confirmed an EF0 Tornado in the town of Olanta, in Florence County on Woods Bay RD from Friday’s Storms. Winds Estimated at 80mph.
According to the National Weather Service, the tornado lasted two minutes, had a maximum wind speed of 80 mph, a path width of 30 yards and a path length of just over half a mile.
The NWS has survey crews out in and around the Pee Dee and Grand Strand and will have more updates on their findings from Friday’s storms later in the day.
