DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (WBTW) – A Florida judge has ruled that the woman who drove her three kids into the ocean will be involuntarily committed to a state hospital.
Ebony Wilkerson of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, appeared before a judge Monday.
She stood trial for the attempted murder of her three young children after authorities say she drove into the Atlantic Ocean just off of Daytona Beach in 2014.
She was found not guilty by reason of insanity on three charges of child neglect and child endangerment.
