Myrtle Beach woman wanted after baby tests positive for cocaine

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Myrtle Beach police are looking for a woman accused of unlawful conduct towards a child.

The incident report says officers received a walk in report from an employee of DSS Thursday regarding child neglect. The complainant told police that on Aug. 26, Anastasia Octavia Barr gave birth to a baby that tested positive for cocaine.

The worker provided police with the proper documentation showing the results of the drug screening and a warrant was obtained for Barr’s arrest. According to the report, the baby is now under the care of the Department of Social Services.

The suspect is 27 years old, stands about 5’7″, and weighs around 237 pounds.
