MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW)- You may have been dodging the rain on this last weekend of winter, but some folks on the Grand Strand say bring on the water as they prepare for spring.

Saturday, Myrtle Waves Water Park hosted its seasonal job fair to fill positions for the upcoming months.

The water park looks to hire at least 250 people for various positions.

If you love kids, there are a lot of families and little ones that come to the park. So really, (we’re) looking for people with great customer service skills and especially those applying for life guards, you must be alert as safety is our first priority,” said Rebecca Feagin.

You must be at least 16 years old to work at Myrtle Waves.  The park opens May 16th and closes September 7th.  This is its 30th year in Myrtle Beach.
