MYRTLE BEACH, SC — The Grand Strand Boys and Girls Club needs a new place where teens can meet, and a Myrtle Beach teen member planned a fundraiser to help.
Proceeds from Kudzu Bakery on 72nd Avenue North on King’s Highway in Myrtle Beach on July 14 will benefit the club. Zaria Brown helped set up the fundraiser. She and other members of the club will offer information about the club and collect donations at the bakery all day Tuesday. They will also offer prizes to visitors.
The club will have to move out of its current location at the Myrtle Beach Family Learning Center. It is now raising money and searching for a new home where elementary and teen-aged students can meet after school.
