IRMO (WBTW) – The Myrtle Beach boys soccer team lost 3-2 to Chapin in the AAA State Title game on Saturday. The loss is the fourth in the state championship for the Seahawks in as many tries.

Cooper Woodham led the Eagles with two goals. He scored his second of the game in the 71st minute to give his team the lead.

Myrtle Beach found itself down 2-0 after the first half but they came back and tied it in the second. Abdul Mashrifov booted in a penalty kick less than 10 minutes into the half. Shortly after, Foster Russell scored to tie the game at 2. But Woodham’s goal in the final minutes proved to be the game-winner.
