MYRTLE BEACH – Replacing two of the best offensive players in school history doesn’t appear it will be a problem for Myrtle Beach this year.
The Seahawks (1-0) rolled past traditional power Byrnes 35-19 Saturday to open the 2016 season. Myrtle Beach is breaking in new faces on offense after losing quarterback Drayton Arnold and all-time leading rusher Brandon Sinclair to Old Dominion. But the Seahawks had no problem putting points on the board thanks to great plays on special teams and defense. Keyonte Sessions also had a big night for the offense.
