Myrtle Beach program to help alter criminal records

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) – Has your criminal record affected your ability to obtain a job, professional license, public benefits or housing? Learn from an attorney what you can do to help yourself.

The Chapin Memorial Public Library in Myrtle Beach will offer a workshop July 7 from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. to help those interested in bettering their criminal history gather information on expungements, pardons and other options. An attorney will host the event and will be available to answer questions.

The program is offered by South Carolina Legal Services. The library is located at 400 14th Ave. North in Myrtle Beach. RSVP appreciated, but not required. Please contact Laura at 843-918-1295 or reference@chapinlibrary.org with questions or to reserve your spot.
