The Myrtle Beach Police Department is searching for a suspect in an attempted burglary. 

A male suspect entered the property of a residence in the 700 block of Dogwood Avenue in the Pine Lakes section of Myrtle Beach around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, according to an investigative bulletin poster from the MBPD.

Surveillance video shows the suspect come to the back door of the residence and try to enter, the poster also says. The suspect was unable to enter the residence. The victim arrived home and saw the suspect in his yard. The suspect then fled the scene and was not located. 

The poster also says there are no active warrants in this case.
