Myrtle Beach police responded to a robbery at a N. Ocean Blvd. business on Wednesday.
Officers responded to the Court Capri, located at 2610 N. Ocean Blvd., around 10:45 p.m. for a robbery call, according to an incident report from the Myrtle Beach Police Department. Upon arriving, officers met with a victim, who stated an unknown suspect had come in asking for change. The victim told police the suspect then said that he didn’t want to hurt anybody, and that he was on the streets and needed money.
The victim reported the suspect held his hand out, but kept his other hand inside his jacket, which she believed might have had a weapon in it, the report said. The victim reportedly opened the register and gave the suspect about $180. The suspect then reportedly said that was enough and left the business.
The victim described the suspect to police as a young, white male approximately in his twenties with a slender build. The victim also said the suspect was wearing a black hoodie and black frame glasses.
