MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Police are searching for a man who made off with a half-dozen donuts after paying at the drive-thru with a fake $100 bill.
A clerk at the Donut Man on Kings Highway told police the man opened his door at the drive-thru window at 10:17 p.m. on Tuesday and gave her the $100 bill, according to the incident report.
The clerk handed the man his glazed donuts and when she turned to check the $100, he drove away, police said.
The bill clearly has “for motion picture use only” printed on the front and back sides, the report confirms.
The man was driving a newer model, white four-door Nissan Altima with tinted windows. The clerk said he headed southbound on Kings Highway with the car’s trunk flopping open and closed, police reported.
