Myrtle Beach police look for suspects in restaurant robbery

A robbery at a restaurant along North Kings Highway has Myrtle Beach police looking for two possible suspects.

According to an incident report, this happened around 7 p.m. on Sunday, at the Subway, at 2302 North Kings Highway.

An employee told police she was cleaning the windows of the business when a suspect came into the business and pushed her to the ground. When she tried to get up, she says the suspect pushed her to the ground again. She says the suspect then went behind the counter and grabbed the cash register.

A witness told police he saw two men run out of the back of the business, one wearing a gray hoodie and and gray pants, and the other wearing a gray hoodie and blue jeans.

The incident report suggest two cash registers were taken. One has since been recovered.

No injuries were reported. 

This is an ongoing investigation.

Lt. Brian Murphy, with the MBPD, told News13 on Monday afternoon that no arrests have been made yet.
