Myrtle Beach Police investigate what authorities call a double homicide.

Police were called to the Landmark Resort on South Ocean Boulevard around 5:20 Friday evening.

Police investigated the 12th floor where they say they found the bodies of a man and a woman.

Myrtle Beach Police Lieutenant Joey Crosby tells News 13 they are not releasing the age or identification of the two victims at this time because families have not been notified.

No motive or information on the actual crime was released. 

Lt. Crosby said the investigation is still in the preliminary stages and releasing more information at this time could affect the evidence they have as well as the case itself

He says police are looking for a Silver, 2015 Kia Optima, with North Carolina tag BCS 9924.
