Step back in time with a trip to the new Myrtle Beach Pinball Museum!

The museum is the first of its kind in the Myrtle Beach-area. According to curator Jerry Pinkas, it is the largest collection of pinball machines open to the public in South Carolina.
“The museum started with one pinball machine in my real estate office. We brought that in for kids to play and then the next thing we knew brought in another and another. We decided to share our collection with the rest of the community here,” he said.
All of the fun also supports several good causes. The museum is a nonprofit. Everyone who works there is a volunteer, and all the profits go to local charities, including the Make-A-Wish Foundation, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, and SOS Healthcare.
“The main thing is to bring back the nostalgia because people really want to go back back to their childhood. They enjoy playing the games from their youth. Many times people will comment, ‘Oh I just can’t believe I’m playing this again it takes me back to when I was riding my bike to the…’ wherever they were going.”
The museum is still planning its exact schedule, but expects to be open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
