Myrtle Beach officers make arrest in 2014 armed robbery

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Officers arrested Nakisha Lannette Mason Friday morning in connection to an armed robbery that happened in March 2014.

The arrest report said Mason was taken into custody on North Oak Street in Myrtle Beach and charged with robbery, kidnapping, and two counts of assault and battery.

A Myrtle Beach Police report from 2014 says that on March 30, police received a walk-in report of an armed robbery that happened the day before.

The victim went to the police station and told officers that she was dropped off at a home on Blue Street by her daughter when a car pulled up to the house.

The report says that the victim told police that two armed men yelled at her and were upset about a previous incident.  Two other people got out of the car and one of the armed men told them to attack her and take her money.

While the two people held her down and robbed her, the two men in the car held their guns and made sure no one on the scene interfered with the robbery.

The 2014 police report said the victim did not have any visible injuries when she reported the robbery.
