MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Home improvement expert Doug Peterson joined News13 Now at 9 a.m. on Tuesday to share some tips about home repair. Peterson shared just a few of his two-minute home fixes. He will be hosting a workshop for the public on Wednesday. Watch the video to see some of his tips. Information below is from the city of Myrtle Beach:

The Myrtle Beach Neighborhood Services Department/Housing Rehab Program is partnering with Home Depot to provide a free Home Maintenance Workshop.  The workshop will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 11, at the Mary C. Canty Recreation Center, 971 Canal Street, Myrtle Beach.

The workshop features Doug Peterson of Home Depot, the world famous-two minute handyman will be providing you with information on how to do “Quick Fixes” for your bathroom and kitchen, painting secrets of the trade, easy simple things to do to keep your home safe, yard care and hurricane season preparation.

Come take advantage of giveaways, displays and learn how to make minor repairs on a budget.  This workshop is free and anyone can attend.  Housing rehabilitation applicants and recipients will receive bonus points for attending this workshop.
