MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – A Myrtle Beach man was arrested this week after police said he sexually assaulted an underage girl.
According to a police report, officers were originally called to a criminal domestic violence call in January and the victim told police Michael Paul Padgett, 41, had been inappropriately touching an underage female since mid-December.
Police arrested Padgett Wednesday afternoon. He was charged with criminal sexually conduct with a minor 3rd degree.
He is currently being held at the Myrtle Beach jail awaiting a bond hearing.
