MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – A Myrtle Beach man has been sentenced to 10 years for a drug charge.

Franklin Nesbitt, 63, pleaded guilty to “second-offense distribution of cocaine base” on Thursday, according to a press release from the 15th Circuit Solicitor’s Office. A circuit court judge sentenced Nesbitt to 10 years in prison.

“This case is an excellent example of comprehensive and thorough work by law enforcement to get a man dealing drugs in the community off the streets,” said George Henry Martin, III, the assistant solicitor who prosecuted the case for the solicitor’s office. “We appreciate Myrtle Beach Police Department and its respective officers for bringing this defendant to justice.”
