CONWAY, S.C. (WBTW) – Horry County Fire Rescue and County Police responded to a fire at a mobile home Saturday night around 9:30 p.m. on Socastee Blvd.
Horry County Deputy Coroner Darris Fowler said Joe Russel, 44, died in the fire, likely from smoke inhalation and burns.
An autopsy is scheduled for today.
Horry County Police continue to investigate the fire.
The incident had traffic backed up along Highway 707.
