MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – A Myrtle Beach man faces 20 charges related to possession and distribution of child porn.
Investigators with the Horry County Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force say Brian A. DiDonna, 31, distributed and possessed files of child pornography.
DiDonna has a prior conviction of promoting a sexual performance by a child from December in New York, according to the Horry County Sex Offender registry.
A cybertipline report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children led to DiDonna’s arrest, according to the sheriff’s office.
DiDonna was arrested Thursday and charged with:
- 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment on each count;
- 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment on each count.
Investigators with the 15th Circuit Drug Enforcement Unit and South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole, and Pardon services assisted with the execution of the search warrant and arrest.
The case will be prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office.
