Fire crews in Myrtle Beach are battling a house fire on Thursday afternoon.

The call for the house fire came around 4 pm at the corner of 44th Avenue North and Camellia Drive, said Lt. Christian Sliker of Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue.

When fire crews arrived they saw smoke coming from the single-family home, Sliker said.

As of 4:35, crews were still fighting the fire and would be on the scene for a couple of more hours, Sliker said.
