MYRTLE BEACH (WBTW) – The Myrtle Beach Pelicans defeated the Frederick Keys 1-0 on Wednesday night at TicketReturn.com Field.
Starting pitcher Jake Stinnett earned the win for the Pelicans. He threw seven shutout innings and had seven strikeouts.
The Pelicans scored the only run of the game in the fourth inning. Yasiel Balaguert scored on a wild pitch by Keys pitcher Matthew Grimes.
The Pelicans are back in action tomorrow night at Potomac. First pitch is 7:05 p.m.
