MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Cuttin Up Barber Shop is giving back to the community in their own way by providing free haircuts and a meal to school aged children Monday.
Dee Young of Cuttin Up said this was the second year of the event, and this year they added a backpack giveaway.
“What we’re trying to do make sure that the kids have a nice haircut that they feel good about themselves. It gives them a positive attitude, it shows them that there are still some good people in the world that do good. Not everybody is bad. You know it’s a positive thing we’re trying to do and hopefully we succeed in that,” Young said.
