MURRELLS INLET, SC (WBTW) The community of Murrells Inlet is prepared to host their annual July 4th festivities including the favorite boat parade this Saturday beginning at 10 a.m.
Thousands of people will gather together as the boats float past the Marsh Walk in patriotic colors. There will be plenty of food and fun throughout the afternoon before the fireworks light up the sky around 10 p.m. that night.
There will also be a cleanup on Sunday beginning at 8 a.m. Volunteers are asked to meet by the Tiki Hut near the Wicked Tuna. Trash bags and dumpsters will be provided to help keep the marsh clean.
