Murder suspect extradited back to Horry County

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) Horry County police charged an Augusta, Georgia man with murder in Myrtle Beach.

Records show 29-year-old Johnathan Lamar Hillary has been extradited to Horry County and booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.

He is charged with the murder of Timothy Buckley. Hillary was arrested in Atlanta on Nov.17.

He is currently booked on the possession of a weapon during a violent crime charge. Horry County Lt. Raul Denis says Hillary will be served the murder warrant Friday.

Timothy F. Buckley was reported missing on Sept. 30.  His remains were found in a field off of Rodeo Drive on Nov. 10.

Bernithia Young, 33, of Atlanta, Georgia, was also charged alongside Hillary with accessory after the fact to a felony murder.
