NICHOLS, SC (WBTW) – Wednesday afternoon, crews responded to a brush fire in the Nichols community.
Horry County Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Brian Van Aernem says Horry County Fire Rescue has multiple units working to put out the fire on 15 Mile Bay Road.
Van Aernam also says the fire is burning approximately 10 acres and two SC Forestry plows have been brought in to help control the fire.
