Multiple crews respond to fire at Atlantic Beach apartments

ATLANTIC BEACH (WBTW)- Multiple crews are on the scene of an apartment fire in Atlantic Beach.

Atlantic Beach Police Chief Tim Taylor says the fire was at apartments behind club “Off the Hook” on 30th Ave South. Crews on scene say the building has moderate to severe damage.

Four people lived inside the apartments. No one was hurt.

Five fire trucks are working to put out the fire that began around 1:30 Sunday afternoon. Crews were able to get to the scene quickly and get things under control.

The cause of fire is under investigation.
