MARION- Mullins High School and Marion High School filled their vacant positions for head varsity boys basketball coaches on Thursday.
Steve Smith will take over for the Auctioneers. He was an assistant last year when Jimmy Vereen took over for the late Mark Gerald. Smith has been a teacher at Mullins for nine years. Before that Smith coached ten years at Latta High School.
Brian Scott will be Marion’s new head coach. Scott has ties to Darlington and played football for South Carolina.
