Do you plan to mail holiday packages on Monday, Dec.19? If so, you’re not alone.
This is expected to be the busiest day for mailing and shipping holiday items.
The busiest delivery day will come a few days later on Dec. 22.
The U.S. Postal Service estimates 30 million packages will be delivered that day alone with a total of 750 million for the holiday season.
Customers should be aware of the holiday shipping deadlines, which are as follows:
- Tues., Dec. 20 First-Class Mail
- Wed., Dec. 21 Priority Mail
- Fri., Dec. 23 Priority Mail Express
Post Offices nationwide will be open Christmas Eve, Thursday, Dec. 24, but most will close at Noon.
