UNION Co., S.C. — A Union County mom is accused of exposing her children to marijuana.
Cassandra Thompson, 22, of Jonesville has been charged with neglect, according to the sheriff’s office.
Union County Department of Social Services notified deputies after tests indicated that two of her children tested positive for marijuana.
According to an incident report, DSS took the samples from Thompson’s 5-year-old and infant daughter earlier this month. Thompson also tested positive, while a drug analysis came back negative for a 3-year-old child, the report states.
Deputies say Thompson has been charged with two counts of child neglect.
