Missing teen found in SC town 100+ miles from home, officials say

Authorities say that a teen girl missing since Monday was found Friday afternoon.

Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police were working with the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System’s Campus Police Department to find Harlie Griffin, age 15.

Harlie, who attends school in Savannah, had not been seen by family or school officials since Monday and the public was being asked to help locate her.

On Friday afternoon, officials said that Harlie was found safe in North Charleston and is now in protective custody.
