MADISON COUNTY, N.C. (WBTW) – Deputies with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office say the 13-year-old autistic boy for whom the department was searching since Sunday night, has been found and is safe with his family.
Officials say Devon Dakota Williams, who is also nonverbal, was last seen on Hwy 208 wearing a yellow t-shirt, sweatpants with the word ‘Madison’ written on the side, and orange The North Face tennis shoes before being located Monday.
Officials did not expand upon where Williams was located, but did say he is safe and is now with his family.
