Florence County Sheriff’s Office says that a missing Johnsonville “vulnerable adult” with health issues was found dead on Tuesday evening.
According to Investigators, Ruben Dale Johnson, age 57, of Mill Branch Road in Johnsonville, was last seen at approximately at 8 am Monday at his home.
Deputies were eager to find Johnson because he had “multiple health related issues and is dependent on daily medication. Because of a history of strokes, Johnson’s speech is affected; he walks with a limp and has decreased mobility and use of his right arm,” deputies said in a press release earlier Tuesday.
Florence County Coroner Keith Von Lutcken said that Johnson was found dead off of Mill Branch Road near Johnsonville.
