Members of law enforcement gathered in Horry County to remember fallen officers.
Sunday, Coastal Carolina Lodge 12 of the Fraternal Order of Police held its annual memorial service at the Horry County Law Enforcement Memorial in Conway.
Family members of the officers honored also attended and the group Law Enforcement United Bicycle Riders, also stopped by on their ride to the National Memorial Service in Washington, D.C.
Rich Gallow, a retired federal agent said, “its an honor and privilege to ride on behalf of all law enforcement officers. I have six friends on the wall at the National Wall in D.C. so, for me, it’s also personal.”
38 police officers have died in the line of duty nationwide in 2015.
