MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) – Lance Stephens, 10, is a 5th grade student at ATC Christian School in Conway.  He loves sports, singing, acting and being a 10-year-old boy. 

When he’s not swimming or playing basketball, Lance is performing.  He is an accomplished singer who has won both the Junior Division of the Columbus County Fair Talent Competition and the Junior Division of the Loris Chamber Talent Competition TWICE.  He has also been a finalist in the Conway Superstar Competition twice and has been chosen two years in a row as a national finalist in the US Open Tennis Tournament’s “America, the Beautiful” Casting Call.  

Lance has performed as a soloist all over the Grand Strand and Horry County.  He takes voice lessons and is learning to play the piano as well.  He loves to perform as a part of “Carolina Vocals” at Plyler Park on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk on Monday nights during the summer. He also enjoys singing at his church and has been invited to sing at many local area churches.

Lance loves theatre as well and has performed as “Little Boy” in the Carolina Forest High School production of Ragtime and as “Ollie” in the Black Water Middle School production of Yes, Virginia.  He is currently in rehearsals as a cast member in the CFHS production of Fiddler on the Roof.
