FLORENCE, SC – Eating healthy, exercising, and maintaining normal body weight are keys to preventing diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer, and more. The McLeod Health & Fitness Center wants to help you kick start an exercise program or rejuvenate a current one by participating in the “Fresh Start FITBODY CHALLENGE.”
This six week program will provide participants with the tools needed for a lifestyle change. “Fresh Start FITBODY CHALLENGE” includes pre and post program fitness assessments, a personalized exercise plan, group personal training, weekly wellness checks with a registered Dietitian/Nutritionist and much more. The Fresh Start FITBODY CHALLENGE registration ends Wednesday, March 30. The kick-off will be held on Tuesday, April 5 at 6:00 pm in the conference room of the McLeod Health & Fitness Center. The program runs from April 11 until May 20.
Fresh Start is offered to members and non-members of the McLeod Health & Fitness Center, with a discounted rate for members. Non-member participants will enjoy full membership access during this program. The program is accommodating to all schedules, as both morning and evening classes are available. Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female participants.
“It is really wonderful that we have a place like the McLeod Health & Fitness Center. The program I took part in was a great success because of the combination of experienced staff, available equipment and a group of people that endeavor to persevere,” said John Thibodeaux, a past participant of the McLeod Health & Fitness Center Challenge program. Thibodeaux lost weight and gained muscle but considers the greatest benefit to be a lowering of his blood pressure.
