GEORGETOWN, SC (WBTW) – The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that killed one person Saturday morning.
According to Carrie Weaver of the GCSO, officers responded to the call of shots fired at 560 Greentown Road in Georgetown around 4 a.m. to find three male victims. The coroner’s office says Deon Geathers, 33, of McClellanville, died a short time after paramedics arrived. The names of the injured men have not been released.
Police are asking for anyone with information on this incident to contact the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office (843) 546-5101.
