MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) – McBee and Lamar will play each other on Friday night in the Region 2A Upper State championship.
Both of these teams played a thrilling match during the regular season. Audy Tedder kicked a game-winning field goal in the final seconds of overtime to give the Silver Foxes a 17-14 win.
A lot is at stake for both sides heading into the big game. Lamar is trying to defend its state title. McBee, on the other hand, is trying to break through and get to the state championship after losing the last two years in Upper State finals.
Friday’s game is being played at Lamar. Kick off is 7:30 p.m.
