CONWAY, S.C. (WBTW)- The Myrtle Beach Regional Economic Development held a board meeting Wednesday to provide updates on job creation and company expansions.

Morgan Dendy with the MBREDC told News13 the board discussed three Horry County companies that are expected to announce expansions in the next 60 days. Dendy says if all goes according to plans, that will create 150 jobs.

The board did not discuss which companies are expanding but they are all located in Horry County.

The new jobs are projected to pay an average wage of more than $20 per hour.
