Marlboro County deputies are searching for a suspect in an armed robbery of a convenience store.
On November 12, an “unidentified black female entered the Kountry Mart on Hwy 38 N. in Bennettsville, SC with a shirt over her head and while wearing face paint,” said Lt. Trevor Murphy, with the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Unit. “The subject presented a knife and told the cashier to give her the money. The cashier refused and the subject fled the scene in the vehicle [pictured].”
According to Murphy, a cash reward is being offered “to anybody with information leading to the identification and arrest of this subject.”
