Marion, SC (PRESS RELEASE) – City of Marion is one of six South Carolina cities to make Non-Profit Organization KaBoom!s 2015 list of “Playful City USA Communities.
On June 17, 2015 the City of Marion was honored with the 2015 Playful City USA designation for the fourth time. In partnership with the Humana Foundation, KaBoom! Is honoring cities, town and counties across the country for making their communities more payable.
KaBoom! Selected Marion for its outstanding dedication to play, among others things. Come play with us and “get out, get moving and get fit’ to the “be playful and live it” mindset is the City of Marion mission. We want to promote ourselves as fun, friendly, walkable community that offers varied and exciting opportunities for play through sports, programs and better play areas to all citizens and visitors of all ages.
