GREEN SEA- FLOYDS, SC (WBTW) – Marcus Lattimore surprised Green Sea-Floyds football players at summer workouts on Monday morning.

The players showed up to practice to find the former Gamecock and San Francisco 49ers running back there to work with them for the day.

Lattimore was only there to see the facilities and do a site visit for his upcoming camp, however he stayed around for much more. He helped trained players on the field and in the weight room.

Lattimore also spoke to the Trojans about The Marcus Lattimore Foundation and the importance of making good grades, having good character and standing strong in your faith and beliefs.

Lattimore says he plans to make plenty more trips back to Green Sea-Floyds High School, and said something about being there just felt right. He also noticed some of the younger players working out did not have cleats of their own. Lattimore says he plans to buy them new cleats.

He will hold a camp at Green Sea-Floyds High School on August 8th.
