CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – Officers say they are looking for a man with outstanding warrants after the suspect came to the police department to file a complaint about another person.
According to Lt. Raul Denis, a man came into the Horry County Police Department in Conway around 3 p.m. wanting to make a complaint that he was being harassed by another individual. When officers began taking his information, they realized that the complainant was actually wanted on a non-violent warrant.
The man denied it was possible that he had an outstanding warrant and ran out of the police station into the wooded area near the police department.
HCPD brought out K9 teams to locate the man, but as of Friday evening, the suspect has not been found yet.
