Man working with the Myrtle Beach Parks Division arrested on drug charges

A man who was working with the Myrtle Beach Parks Division has been arrested on drug charges, according to City Spokesperson Mark Kruea. 

Norvell Dewitt Finklea, Jr. was a part time, temporary summer employee working with the city though an employment agency. He was arrested by Myrtle Beach Police Friday before noon near 33rd Avenue North. 

Finklea has been charged with three counts of possession with intent to distribute marijuana and one count each of possession with intent to distribute cocaine, trafficking cocaine more than 10 grams but less than 28 grams and possession with intent to distribute narcotics within a half-mile of a school or park. 

Finklea is 36, from Marion and Kruea tells us he will no longer be working with the city.
