A man in New York was photographed recently wearing a sign on his back asking for help for his sick wife.
The sign read, “In need of a kidney for my wife, B+.” A phone number was also provided.
According to CNN, a CNN editor posted a picture of the man on twitter and the post went viral.
Celebrities including Zach Braff and Evan Rachel wood shared it.
The man’s name is Raymond Thompson and his wife Mylen was diagnosed with kidney disease two years ago.
Since the posting, they’ve gotten numerous calls from strangers offering Mylen a kidney.
